In accordance with Meta’s platform policies, this page outlines the step-by-step instructions for users to request the deletion of their data collected via Facebook Login or standard registration on our platform.
1. Types of Data Collected
When you use Facebook Login to access ChatSevak, we strictly request access to basic information necessary for authentication and account creation:
Public Profile: First name, last name, and profile picture.
Email Address: Your primary email address linked to your Facebook account.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
If you wish to delete your account data from ChatSevak, you can choose either of the two methods below:
Method A: Automated Deletion via Facebook (Recommended)
You can remove ChatSevak’s access to your data directly through your Facebook settings by following these steps:
Go to your Facebook profile’s Settings & Privacy > Settings.
Scroll down to the left menu and click on Apps and Websites.
Find ChatSevak in the list of active apps.
Click the Remove button next to the app name.
Check the box if you want Facebook to delete any history or posts associated with the app, then click Remove again to confirm.
Method B: Direct Deletion Request
If you would like us to permanently purge your user profile, history, and associated logs directly from our application databases:
Send an email from your registered email address to: chatsevak@gmail.com
Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - ChatSevak Account
Body: Please include your full name and the email address associated with your account.
3. Data Processing and Retention Timeline
Processing Time: Once an email request is received, our technical support team will process and permanently delete your account data within 48 to 72 business hours.
Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the data purge is successfully completed.
Exceptions: Please note that data required for ongoing compliance, legal obligations, or financial transaction logs (if applicable) may be retained securely in accordance with local regulations.
